Liquidity pools

Supply assets that traders can swap against, and manage the position representing your share.

Capital that makes trading possible

A liquidity pool makes a pair of assets available for swaps. LPs deposit capital into the pool and hold positions representing their participation. The depth and placement of that capital shape how much a trader can exchange and at what execution price.

Within BIBO, the LP layer continues the market created by the Launchpad. It also connects eligible trading activity to the ve(3,3) allocation process: LPs supply capital, voters direct incentives, and measured pool fees help determine the reward capacity that activity can support.

Liquidity in a price range

Concentrated liquidity
Every BIBO pool uses concentrated liquidity. You choose a price range for each position. For example, a position covering prices from 1 to 2 is active while the market price is inside that range. These are illustrative prices in the pool's quote asset.
Position management
The asset mix changes as the market trades. A concentrated position outside its range stops supplying active liquidity until the price returns to the range or the provider opens a different position.

Which fees a pool charges

Every swap pays its pool's market fee, which goes to that pool's liquidity providers. Some pools also charge a fee on the quote-asset side of each swap; the table shows which, by how the pool was opened.

A platform-fee pool is opened through the Launchpad for a pair that includes an enabled quote asset, such as BIBOCAT, WETH or BGB. It adds a 0.1% platform fee and charges no Creator Fee. In the App, opening a new pool for such a pair creates this kind of pool.

The platform fee is Launchpad protocol revenue and follows the 80/20 policy. A launch pool's market fee and platform fee are fixed for each launch when it is created, and they can differ between launches. The fee badge on the token page shows the total a trade pays; its tip lists the parts.

Which fees a pool charges
PoolWhat a swap pays
A launch's own pool, opened at graduationThe market fee, the launch's Creator Fee if it has one, and a fixed platform fee, except on launches from the first release
A platform-fee poolThe market fee and a 0.1% platform fee, with no Creator Fee
Any other poolThe market fee only

Where pool activity goes

Each fee a swap pays has its own destination. The market fee is income for the pool's liquidity providers. A launch's Creator Fee follows the project's fixed split between its creator and Meme token stakers. The platform fee is protocol revenue. In the ve(3,3) program, the eligible pool fee stream goes to voters supporting the pool, while eligible LP participation earns the BIBO incentives released to it.

Check the income attached to your position before depositing. Direct LP fees and vote-directed BIBO rewards depend on the pool and how the position participates. The total fees shown for a pool are not all claimable by each LP, and the same fee allocation is not paid in full to both LPs and voters.

Manage your liquidity

Open a pool from Liquidity to inspect its pair and available positions. Portfolio brings your positions together so you can follow their assets, add or remove capital, and collect available fees or rewards. Incentive eligibility is specific to the market and participation path.
