Creator and holder fees

A continuing share of project activity for creators and participants who stake the project's Meme token.

Revenue that stays with the project

Creator Fee connects a project's trading activity to the people building and participating in it. At launch creation, the creator chooses an additional fee rate within the available range and an allocation between a designated creator recipient and a Holder Fee budget. Both the rate and allocation are fixed at creation.

Despite its name, Creator Fee can support both the creator and Meme token stakers. During launch trading, the project's revenue combines its share of the base trading fee with the additional Creator Fee. After graduation, the additional fee continues in the launch's own pool. Only that pool charges it. Other pools for the same token, including platform-fee pools, charge no Creator Fee, so trades there add nothing to project revenue.

If the additional Creator Fee is zero, it stays zero after graduation. The project's base-fee share can still fund rewards during the launch, but no new additional Creator Fee is generated in the graduated pool. That pool still charges its market fee and, except on launches from the first release, the platform fee; neither reaches the project. Previously collected budgets and accrued claims remain separate.

From project revenue to two recipients

Project revenue is collected in the quote asset and divided according to the chosen policy. The creator allocation is claimable by the designated recipient. The holder allocation funds a quote-asset reward stream for participants who stake the project's Meme token.

For example, a project using a 40% creator and 60% holder allocation would assign 4 units from a 10-unit receipt to its creator and 6 units to the Holder Fee budget. This is an illustrative project policy; the actual split is the one fixed for that project.

If you maintain 10% of the total Meme token stake throughout the full distribution of those 6 units, you earn 0.6 units of the quote asset. Joining later or changing your share of total stake changes the result. The 60% holder allocation belongs to all participating stakers together.

This split applies to project revenue. The protocol's 80/20 buyback and operations policy applies separately to Launchpad protocol revenue. Eligible LP voter fees also have their own destination, so these percentages are never applied to the same fee allocation twice.

Holder Fee requires a Meme token stake

A participant joins the Holder Fee stream by staking the corresponding project's Meme token. Rewards accrue during an active, funded stream according to the participant's share of total stake over time. Holding tokens in a wallet does not join that stream, and an LP position or a BIBO lock does not replace the required deposit.

A project can allocate no revenue to Holder Fee. For participating projects, the amount earned depends on the funded fee budget, other stakes and the time each stake participates. The allocation is fee income, with no fixed return implied.

The deposited token and the reward asset

A Meme token deposit creates a non-transferable staked balance associated with the wallet. It does not issue a receipt token, a staked token variant or an NFT. The stake is visible on the project's row in Portfolio under Tokens.

The deposited asset and the reward asset remain distinct. Withdrawing returns the original Meme token. Claiming pays accrued Holder Fee in the project's quote asset and leaves the Meme token stake in place.

StakeYour deposit becomes a recorded stake

The project's Meme tokens move into staking, and a balance is recorded for your wallet. No receipt token, staked version or NFT is issued. Rewards accrue while you participate in an active, funded Holder Fee stream.

The meme token is your principal, and the quote asset is your reward.

Distribution, accrual and withdrawal

Trading creates project fees, those fees are collected, and the holder allocation funds a reward stream. A new distribution can start at most once per seven-day protocol accounting period, called an epoch. The funded budget is then paid out gradually over seven days. Your claimable balance grows according to your share of the total stake while that stream runs.

There are two separate clocks. The reward stream follows its funding schedule. Your withdrawal delay runs from your own latest deposit: Meme tokens become withdrawable six hours later. You do not have to wait for that withdrawal time to claim rewards already earned.

Adding tokens restarts the withdrawal delay for your entire staked balance. Claiming rewards leaves that time unchanged. Fees waiting for collection or distribution are not yet part of your personal claimable balance.
